Police arrest Prince George鈥檚 Co. sexual assault suspect at Metro station

WASHINGTON 鈥斅燩olice on Tuesday arrested a man wanted in connection with a sexual assault in New Carrollton聽over the weekend.

Police said 23-year-old Darren Samuel Robinson Robinson sexually assaulted the victim and stole several items from her home before fleeing, police said.

On Tuesday afternoon, Metro Transit police arrested Robinson at the Huntington Metro station hours after Prince George鈥檚 County police released a photo of him.

Two people at the Metro station recognized Robinson from the photo and contacted authorities, according to Prince George鈥檚 County police.

Robinson is in custody in Fairfax County awaiting extradition back to Prince George’s County.
